Holidays, Closures, and Snow Days

We follow the Halton Public & Catholic School Board calendars.
No service on PA days or statutory holidays (unless requested by email).
On snow days, if Halton District School Board cancels buses, all school transportation will also be suspended, including pre-booked trips for school, college, or extracurricular activities.

Drop-Off and Pickup Guidelines

Unless otherwise arranged, drop-off is at the main entrance (Gate 1).
Pickup times should be scheduled at least 15–20 minutes before or after the school bell to avoid congestion.
If someone must meet the child, wait time may be billed unless pre-arranged.
Delays due to lineups may result in additional charges.

Cancellations and No-Shows

In-town trips: Cancel at least 20 minutes before dispatch to avoid a $6.75 charge.
Out-of-town trips: Cancel at least 2 hours before dispatch. Late cancellations may be billed up to the Oakville border.
No charge for cancellations made before dispatch.

Child Safety Requirements

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children must be able to fasten and unfasten their seatbelts independently.
We do not provide car seats or boosters. Parents or guardians are responsible for installation and removal.

Driver Credentials

Our school transportation drivers are:

Licensed by the Town of Oakville.
CPR-certified.
Subject to annual Vulnerable Sector Screening and Police Clearance.
Trained for child safety and punctuality.
